Sutherland & Caithness Lifeboat Pull

May 25th to May 27th

From Brora to Wick - 50 Miles

Day 1 Wednesday

The pull started at Brora travelling North along the A9 through Lothbeg, Portgower, Helmsdale and up the Ord, finishing the day at Ousdale - 18 Miles covered.

Day 2 Thursday

Starting at Ousdale again travelling North along the A9 through the Berriedale Braes, Dunbeath, and Latheronwheel, on the A99 at Latheron, finishing at Lybster - 18 Miles covered.

Day 3 Friday

Starting at Lybster through Clyth, Ulbster and Thrumster.   On arriving at Wick the team were taken tom the Pultney Distillery for a guided tour whilst waiting for the Police escort who then escorted the boat pull team down to and through the town finishing at the Wick Lifeboat station - 14 Miles covered.
